There are few artists like him. Cartesian minds, for whom creation could almost be likened to a matter of mathematics. Be careful: don't think that this takes away any poetry from him. On the contrary. Influenced by artists like MGMT, Daft Punk, and Aphex Twin, Claude quickly developed a vital need to create something, too. So, he began to write, fueled by his most intimate thoughts and observations of the world around him. The language is raw, direct. So much the better: the style is there – we discover it on a first EP in March 2023: Bientôt la nuit. Today, Claude's discography is beefed up with IN EXTREMIS, his first album, marked by the meeting with producer Alexis Delong (Zaho de Sagazan, Yoa). In the artist's mind, a web of subjects unfolds, motivated by a deep desire to be purely honest. A booklet of confessions: that's what IN EXTREMIS is, fueled by lyrics by Fernando Pessoa, Headache, and Tyler, The Creator, as well as Virginie Despentes, whose characters hold no secrets for her audience. The result is a work with musical structures in balance, like unsolved equations.
